Shimla: The government today asked contractors involved in road building activities to dump debris at dumping sites as construction of roads was causing inconvenience as well leading to environment degradation.
Presiding over a contractors meeting, Thakur Gulab Singh, said that dumping sites would be marked in the detailed project reports which are contracted out for construction purposes and it had been made mandatory to use them in order to protect the environment.
