I fully appreciate this decision despite understanding the political compulsions behind it. This opportunity should be fully utilized to set up new infrastructure and involve quality man power. State universities were earlier lobbying for conversion of status from state to centre. I think Chief Minister has a full understanding of the state's own human resources in these universities. Central university should be a “Real” Centre of Excellence with zero political interference, where brains can perform at their hundred percent levels.
